Velo Edition Jersey
The Velo Edition Jersey is a limited series of the Annecy Jersey, which pays tribute to the iconic Miko-Mercier Jersey (1977-1981).
Mercier looks into its prolific legacy as a sponsoring brand at the highest level of professional cycling competition. The Velo Ed. Jersey pays tribute to the iconic Miko-Mercier Jersey worn by all the members of Mercier professional team between 1977 and 1981. Miko was an ice-cream brand very popular in France back in the days.
The Annecy Jersey is made with a light fabric produced in France. It is the perfect outfit for all your cycling trips in mild to warm conditions. The rear panel is woven for rapid sweat wicking and efficient thermoregulation.
A versatile jersey, optimal during all your cycling trips, either for a high-tempo training or just to enjoy the landscapes.
The Annecy Jersey is composed of two different fabrics, both made in France. On the front and on the sleeves, the material is very elasticated and gives you comfort and support. As for the rear panel, it is woven for rapid sweat wicking and efficient thermoregulation. Then, you stay dry and cool even when the tempo speeds up.
On the lower back, an elastic strip with silicon in it provides a good support. The adjusting strip on the sleeves is made with a lined fabric for more comfort. On the chest, the self-locking YKK® zipper can be put at any level to open the jersey when the temperature increases and, in the back, three pockets can contain everything you need when riding your bike.
As always, Mercier brings you an unrivaled level of finishing touches. On the front, there is our signature label sewed with Mercier logo on it, and printed logos. On the back of the jersey, our traditional colors are present from side to side. On the collar, a tricolor locker loop allows hanging to dry the Annecy Jersey.
Why is this jersey called Annecy? To show Mercier’s love for the capital city of the French Alps. Sometimes nicknamed the “Venice of the Alps,” the city is located at 400 meters above sea-level, between a lake and the mountains. Annecy is a welcoming city for sportsmen and sportswomen, all year long there are many activities possible for those who love nature. That being said, the city often hosts a stage of the Tour de France.
