The Causses mitts were developed with the company Maison Fabre. They are the end-product of a two-year development and are meant for cyclists with the highest standards.
The leather composing them offers an incomparable touch. Foam pads allow decreasing the growing pressure on the palms. Fashion goes, elegance remain.

The leather used to make Causses gloves is lambskin, raised in Ethiopia and tanned in Italy. It is only 0.7 mm thick. The stitching and finishing are done entirely by hand in the Maison Fabre workshops.
UNMATCHED QUALITY
Suitable for cycling: the palm side is made from abrasion-resistant fabric. Inserts with 2 mm thick padding. The comfort provided helps reduce pressure.

To design this exceptional product, Mercier partnered with one of France's last remaining glove manufacturers. Located in Millau, France, in the Causses region, Maison Fabre was founded in 1924 and is now run by the fourth generation of the family, who continue to pass on their precious expertise.
The leather used to make Causses gloves is lambskin, raised in Ethiopia and tanned in Italy. It is only 0.7 mm thick. Each hide is carefully selected. The utmost care is given to cutting the different pieces to ensure flawless quality. Finally, the stitching and finishing touches are once again carried out entirely by hand in the Maison Fabre workshops.
For this exclusive collaboration, we have adapted the glove for cycling use. On the palm side, the material used is an abrasion-resistant fabric made in France. We have also added several pads, 2 mm thick, inside the hands. The comfort provided helps to reduce pressure and thus prevent nerve injuries and discomfort in the vulnerable areas of the hand. The Velcro closure allows you to perfectly adjust the gloves.
