The Causses mitts were developed with the company Maison Fabre. They are the end-product of a two-year development and are meant for cyclists with the highest standards.
The leather composing them offers an incomparable touch. Foam pads help reduce the increasing pressure on the palms. Fashion fades, elegance remain.

The leather used to make the Causses gloves is lambskin, raised in Ethiopia and tanned in Italy. Its thickness is just 0.7mm. Seams and finishes are entirely handcrafted in the Maison Fabre workshops.

Description
To create this exceptional product, Mercier partnered with one of the last French glove manufacturers. Located in Millau, France, in the Causses region, Maison Fabre was founded in 1924 and it is now the fourth generation that perpetuates this precious craft.
The leather used to make the Causses gloves is lambskin, raised in Ethiopia and tanned in Italy. Its thickness is just 0.7mm. Each hide is carefully selected. The greatest care is taken in cutting the various panels, for impeccable quality. Finally, the seams and finishes are, once again, entirely handcrafted in the Maison Fabre workshops.
For this exclusive collaboration, we adapted the glove for cycling. On the palm side, the material used is an abrasion-resistant fabric made in France. We also positioned several 2mm thick pads inside the hands. The comfort provided helps to reduce pressure and thus prevent nerve damage and discomfort on the vulnerable parts of the hand. The velcro closure allows for a perfect fit.
