Two years of design went into the Émile cycling shorts: choosing the best materials, testing, correcting, improving. With patience, and a certain stubbornness.
The 44 mm-wide Mercier-colored leg grippers with silicone inserts keep the shorts in place, even during intense rides. The inner leg is made from a single piece of fabric and all seams are flatlocked to minimize friction.
On the lower back, a mesh panel ensures ventilation and sweat wicking. The highly ventilated back is designed to work with the Peloton base layer and the Saint-Étienne jersey: the base layer transfers moisture to the jersey, and then to the outside.
