Made from a soft, insulating fabric Superroubaix, and thanks to an innovative construction, Joop allows you to maintain all the mobility you need when pedalling. The pad, made in Italy, has been selected to provide you with the best support for winter rides.

Description
The Joop winter bib tights have been designed and developed with a single goal: to allow you to ride in cold weather with maximum comfort. Riding in autumn or winter, as you know, when temperatures drop below 10 or 15°C, requires a certain motivation. So you might as well do it in the best possible conditions!
The fabric used, Superroubaix, is made in Italy. Lined with a thin layer of fleece, it provides warmth and breathability. It is also four-way stretch to perfectly adapt to every body shape.
The construction of the bib tights has been carefully studied, with flatlock seams to avoid any friction. They have been strategically positioned to preserve all the mobility needed for pedalling. Is a high-performance winter bib tight not, ultimately, one that you forget you are wearing?
At the saddle area, a special fabric panel has been placed to resist abrasion in this critical zone. As for the chamois, we selected the pad best suited to provide maximum comfort. Made, once again, in Italy and featuring a triple-density construction, it will accompany you through your efforts by absorbing as many road vibrations as possible. It is in fact the same pad as the one fitted to our Émile bib shorts, which our customers particularly love.
The panel at the lower back has been extended to retain body heat. At the upper back, a laser-cut perforated mesh panel wicks moisture to the outside.
Finally, a reflective panel has been placed at the bottom of the leg for added visibility in low light.
The Mercier logos, placed at the lower back and on one rear leg, are embroidered. No more logos that crack and deteriorate with washing: Joop has been developed to last.
The name of the bib tights pays tribute to Dutch rider Joop Zoetemelk, who raced for several years in the Mercier professional team: 1974-1976: Gan-Mercier-Hutchinson, 1977-1978: Miko-Mercier-Hutchinson, 1979: Miko-Mercier-Vivagel, 1982-1983: Coop-Mercier-Mavic. A professional from 1970 to 1987, an exceptional career length for the era, Joop's palmares has entered cycling legend, with notably a Tour de France victory in 1980.
