Made from a soft, insulating fabric Superroubaix, and thanks to an innovative construction, Joop allows you to maintain all the mobility you need when pedalling. The pad, made in Italy, has been selected to provide you with the best support for winter rides.

Description
The Joop winter bib tights were designed and developed with a single goal: to let you ride in cold weather in the greatest possible comfort. As you know, heading out in autumn or winter when temperatures drop below 10 or 15°C takes some motivation. So you might as well do it in the best conditions!
The fabric, Superroubaix, is made in Italy. Lined with a thin layer of fleece, it provides warmth and breathability. It is also four-way stretch to fit every body shape perfectly.
The construction of the tights was precisely studied and the seams are flat (flatlock) to prevent any chafing. They are cleverly positioned to preserve all the mobility needed for pedalling. After all, isn't a high-performing pair of winter tights one you forget you're wearing?
At the saddle, a special fabric panel resists abrasion in this crucial area. As for the pad, we selected the chamois that provides the best comfort. Made, once again, in Italy with a triple-density design, it supports you during the effort by absorbing as much of the road's roughness as possible. It is the same pad fitted to our Émile bib shorts, which our customers particularly love.
The panel at the lower back has been lengthened to retain body heat. At the upper back, a perforated, laser-cut mesh wicks moisture outwards.
Finally, a reflective panel at the bottom of the leg adds a touch of visibility in low light.
The Mercier logos, at the lower back and on the back of one leg, are embroidered. No more logos that crack and wear out in the wash: Joop was developed to last.
The name pays tribute to Dutch rider Joop Zoetemelk, who raced for several years with the Mercier professional team:

A professional from 1970 to 1987 - exceptional longevity for the time - Joop's record has entered cycling legend, including victory in the 1980 Tour de France.
