For these women's bib shorts, Mercier's development teams started from a blank canvas. The construction is innovative, based on the use of preformed and aerated bib straps with no seams. The straps provide impeccable support and eliminate all friction, even on long rides.
The fabric used for the Avril women's bib shorts, made in Italy, is based on a woven structure. This gives Avril a greater surface area in contact with the air, to regulate body temperature and efficiently wick away sweat. You stay dry and cool, even when the effort intensifies.
The chamois pad, specially adapted to the female anatomy, is handcrafted in Italy. Its unique dual-density construction provides stability, and its perforated surface ensures good airflow: skin temperature and moisture are reduced.
At the bottom of the thighs, the leg grippers include silicone grips inserted into the fabric. The left band features a Mercier logo in digital print. At the lower back, you will find Mercier's distinctive tricolour label.
