Louison are the Mercier bib shorts without bib straps. Produced with a fabric made in France and exclusively designed for Mercier – it is stretched at 360° and resistant to abrasions – it is soft for the skin and brings necessary support to the muscles.

Specifically imagined for women, the triple density chamois leather has several layers of foam and an antibacterial fabric for a perfect comfort, even during the longest cycling trips.

The structure of the higher waistline has been designed to relieve the pressure so that the bib shorts never go deep in the waist. Well fitted, the bib shorts are held on the waistline by a large and flexible holding strip which can be put close to the body without pressuring it.

When it comes to style, the bib shorts have a tricolor label on the back and a Mercier logo embroidered on the right thigh. The inside of the belt is studded with logos.

Louison was Marcel Mercier’s wife and therefore Emile Mercier II’s mother. History will record that Marcel and Louison met in the Saint-Étienne union meetings, in the birth region of bike manufacturing, at the beginning of the 20th century.
