To design the Gruppetto base layer respecting Mercier quality standards, we have selected a material made of 75% remarkable merino wool, made in Italy. Indeed, this natural fibre offers the best thermal and moisture wicking properties. It efficiently wicks the moisture away from the skin to keep you dry and warm. In addition, merino wool is naturally anti-bacterial and odour resistant. The Gruppetto base layer is soft on the skin and is not itchy.

As a nod to the outfit worn by racing cyclists in the 1960s, a zip will allow you to open the base layer down a third of the chest for an adapted ventilation. The Mercier logo is embroidered on the chest and a crown placed on the sleeve testifies of Mercier’s will to offer products of an exceptional quality.
