Made from a soft, insulating fabric Superroubaix, and thanks to an innovative construction, Joop allows you to maintain all the mobility you need when pedalling. The pad, made in Italy, has been selected to provide you with the best support for winter rides.

Description
The Joop winter bib shorts were designed and developed with one single objective: allowing you to ride in cold weather with maximum comfort. Going out in autumn or winter — as you know — when temperatures drop below 10 or 15°C, requires a bit of motivation. So you might as well do it in the best possible conditions!
The fabric used, Superroubaix, is made in Italy. Lined with a thin layer of fleece, it provides warmth and breathability. It is also four-way stretch to perfectly adapt to every body shape.
The construction of the bib shorts has been carefully studied and the seams are flatlock to prevent any friction. They have been strategically positioned to preserve the full freedom of movement needed for pedaling. After all, isn’t a high-performance winter bib short ultimately one you can forget you're even wearing?
At the saddle contact area, a special abrasion-resistant fabric panel has been added to withstand wear in this critical zone. As for the chamois choice, we selected the pad that delivers the highest comfort. Once again made in Italy, featuring a triple-density design, it will support you through effort by absorbing as many road vibrations as possible. Incidentally, it is the same pad featured in our Émile bib shorts, highly appreciated by our customers.
The back panel has been extended to retain body warmth. At the top of the back, a laser-cut perforated mesh ensures optimal moisture wicking to the outside.
Finally, a reflective insert has been placed at the bottom of the leg to enhance visibility when light is low.
The Mercier logos, located at the lower back and on the back of one leg, are embroidered. No more cracking or peeling logos after washing: Joop is built to last.
The name of the bib shorts pays tribute to the Dutch rider Joop Zoetemelk, who raced for several years with the Mercier professional team:

- 1982–1983: Coop-Mercier-Mavic
A professional cyclist from 1970 to 1987 — an exceptional longevity for the era — Joop’s career entered cycling legend, including a victory in the 1980 Tour de France.
