Mercier x L'Étape du Tour de France 2026

On 19 July 2026, Manufacture Mercier will be at L'Étape du Tour de France.

This 34th edition promises to be one of the most beautiful — and most demanding — in the event's history. 170 km, 5,400 m of elevation gain, and climbs etched into the memory of world cycling: the Col de la Croix de Fer, the Col du Télégraphe, the Col du Galibier. And to top it all off, Alpe d'Huez, via the new Col de Sarenne.

16,000 amateur cyclists will have the unique opportunity to ride, for one day, the same roads as the pros. The same roads as the legends who once wore our jersey.

A Legendary Route

From Le Bourg-d'Oisans to Alpe d'Huez, Stage 20 of the 2026 Tour de France brings together everything the Alps have to offer. The Galibier, at 2,645 m above sea level, has been one of the peloton's most feared climbs since its first appearance in the Tour in 1911. The Télégraphe, brutal in its opening kilometres. The Croix de Fer, with its breathtaking scenery.

And Alpe d'Huez, of course. Its 21 hairpin bends. The crowds spilling onto the road. Its one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

The expo village will be open from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 July — so come and see us whenever suits you best.

L'Étape du Tour is also about this: a community of passionate cyclists coming together around a shared challenge. Since 1919, Mercier has been riding alongside cyclists on the world's most beautiful roads. On 19 July, the story continues.
